Who Killed the Electric Car? |
Last night I watched the movie 'Who Killed the Electric Car' on cable and was totally blown away! I can't believe I had not heard about it before. It's one of those films that when you watch it, you can't believe that these things happen. Anyone who is interested in alternative fuels for vehicles should watch this movie. Actually, I think it should be required for every American to watch it. Perhaps it should be required in High School Government classes. That way, our future leaders will have a sense of the damage that has been done by past generations and perhaps they will get fired up enough to get out and vote for REAL changes. Maybe it will even inspire them into public service. Who knows.
Take a couple of hours out of your day and watch this film. Comcast has it On Demand on Encore currently, but the DVD is available for $14.99 through Amazon and Best Buy also. It's worth every penny!
Oh, and once you're done with this film, here are some great resources for you to explore:

Last but certainly not least - please encourage everyone you know to vote in the 2008 election! I believe that this election is going to be one of the most defining moments in our country's history, and it's VITAL that we stand up and demand to have our voices not only HEARD, but ACTED UPON in Washington.
